Calcium and boron work together in the fruit itself, calcium binds into the fruit's cell walls and gives it firmness, while boron helps regulate how calcium and other nutrients actually move into the developing fruit in the first place, so a shortage in either nutrient tends to show up as the same kind of problem, soft, disorder-prone fruit or poor fruit set.
This combination targets that shared weak point directly rather than treating calcium and boron as separate corrections.

Apply through fruit development, from fruit set onward, since that's when calcium demand in the fruit itself is highest and when a shortage actually shows up as a quality problem at harvest. This also fits well ahead of a heat event, since heat stress increases the plant's calcium and water demands at the same time fruit is trying to develop.
This is a mineral fertilizer blend, not a crop-protection chemical, so normal good hygiene during mixing, gloves, avoid ingestion, wash hands afterward, is enough. Store in a cool, dry place away from children, food, and livestock.
