AZOLOCK 800 WDG

AZOLOCK 800 WDG is a high-load strobilurin fungicide formulated to provide long-lasting preventive and early curative protection against a broad spectrum of foliar fungal pathogens. Its high concentration ensures extended residual activity, reducing the frequency of applications while maintaining effective disease suppression.

The product is ideally suited for vegetables, fruits, cereals, and ornamentals, particularly in regions with high humidity, frequent irrigation, or prolonged wet conditions, where pathogens can develop and spread rapidly. AZOLOCK serves as a cornerstone preventive fungicide in integrated disease management programs, especially for high-value crops where yield and quality must be preserved.

Azoxystrobin cuts off the fungal cell's energy supply by blocking a specific step in its respiration, and without that energy the fungus can't grow or spread. It moves into the leaf and has strong preventive strength, so applied ahead of infection it stops spores from germinating in the first place.

Once a lesion has already formed, it will slow the spread but won't undo the damage that's already there. It performs best on a preventive schedule timed to disease-conducive weather, not as a rescue spray once an outbreak is visible.

Azoxystrobin is a single-site fungicide, FRAC group 11, and resistant strains can develop from a single mutation, once that happens no rate increase will bring control back. Don't run more than two sprays of a Group 11 product in a row before switching modes of action.

Alternate with a multi-site protectant like mancozeb or copper, or a DMI, within the same program.

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Avoid spraying in the heat of the day on crops already under stress.

Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock. Triple-rinse containers before disposal.

Registered for use on labelled crops across East African markets, under the relevant national regulatory authority. Always read and follow the approved product label before use.
