BOTRILOCK 625 WDG

BOTRILOCK 625 WDG is a specialized fungicide designed for high-value crops prone to Botrytis and other soft rot pathogens. Its dual-action formulation combines Cyprodinil, which interferes with amino acid biosynthesis, and Fludioxonil, which disrupts osmotic signaling and stress response pathways in fungal cells.

This unique synergy allows BOTRILOCK to prevent infection, suppress lesion expansion, and reduce post-harvest decay, making it highly suitable for tomatoes, strawberries, grapes, ornamentals, and other crops vulnerable to Botrytis cinerea.

Cyprodinil blocks amino acid production the fungus needs to grow, the same mechanism as pyrimethanil, while fludioxonil works completely differently, disrupting the fungus's internal signalling in a way that stops spore germination and growth.

Because the two attack the fungus in unrelated ways, this combination covers ground either active alone would miss, and together they give both preventive protection and real curative activity once botrytis is already present.

This pairing already spans two FRAC groups, 9 and 12, which gives it built-in resistance protection compared to a single-site product used alone. That said, don't treat this as immune to resistance concerns, still alternate with an unrelated mode of action, such as an SDHI, across the season rather than using it for every botrytis spray.

It performs well as either a preventive application ahead of wet weather or a curative treatment once early infection is spotted.

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock.

Triple-rinse containers before disposal.

Registered for use on labelled crops across East African markets, under the relevant national regulatory authority. Always read and follow the approved product label before use.
