KOPRINIL 440 WP is formulated as a dual-active wettable powder, combining the post-infection systemic fungicide Cymoxanil with the broad-spectrum, preventive copper oxychloride. The formulation is optimized for: High-moisture and high-humidity environments, concurrent fungal and bacterial disease pressure, rapid leaf surface adhesion, and systemic uptake, even dispersion in spray solutions with minimal settling.
This design ensures both immediate curative activity and persistent surface protection, making it ideal for integrated disease management in sensitive crops.

Copper oxychloride works as a broad contact protectant, releasing copper ions on the leaf surface that disable multiple enzymes at once in any fungal or bacterial spore that lands there, before it can infect. Cymoxanil complements this with genuine curative reach, moving into the leaf quickly to actively slow infections that have already started, something copper alone can't do.
Together you get copper's dependable, low-resistance-risk prevention plus a real rescue option.
Recommended rate: 2.0–2.5 kg per hectare
| Crop | Target | Timing | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Irish potato | Bacterial blight, Bacterial leaf spot & Downy mildew | Preventive + curative | 3 |
| Tomato | Bacterial blight, Bacterial leaf spot & Downy mildew | Preventive + curative | 3 |
Because copper carries such low resistance risk on its own, and cymoxanil's FRAC group 27 is a distinct, comparatively low-risk mechanism too, this combination doesn't need the strict rotation discipline a strobilurin or DMI-only product would.
It performs well as a season-long preventive base, with the curative side stepping in if bacterial or downy mildew infection gets ahead of the spray schedule.
Copper can scorch foliage in hot, slow-drying conditions, avoid spraying in the heat of the day and allow adequate drying time before rain. Avoid combining with acidic tank-mix partners.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock.
