Mancozeb interferes with several essential enzyme systems in the fungal cell at once rather than one specific target, disabling spores that land on the treated surface before they can infect the plant. Mancozeb's multi-site action means resistance to it is very rare even after decades of widespread use, so this combination doesn't carry the same rotation urgency a single-site product does. It suits a program covering several different diseases across a season, downy mildew, early and late blight, and general leaf spots, rather than being built for just one specific pathogen.
