MAXORA 175 SC is a selective post-emergence herbicide designed for cereals. Its dual ALS-inhibiting actives provide highly effective control of broadleaf weeds, including resistant populations.
The formulation ensures rapid absorption, systemic translocation, and minimal crop injury, making it suitable for high-value cereal production and rotation programs.

Both actives in this product block the same enzyme inside the weed, one the plant needs to build branched-chain amino acids essential for growth. Without those amino acids the weed can't produce the proteins it needs, growth stops within hours, though visible death takes one to three weeks as the plant slowly starves.
Because it works on actively growing tissue, it needs weeds that have already emerged and are growing, it has no effect on ungerminated seed in the soil.
Recommended rate: 0.3–0.5 litres per hectare
| Crop | Target | Timing | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barley | Broadleaf weeds | Post-emergence | 3 |
| Wheat | Broadleaf weeds | Post-emergence | 3 |
Spray once broadleaf weeds have emerged and are actively growing, ideally while they're still small, larger established weeds are harder to control and may only be suppressed rather than killed outright. Don't expect quick visible results, give it one to three weeks before judging whether a follow-up is needed.
With no soil residual activity, this product won't carry any weed control forward to protect against later germination, and it doesn't restrict what you plant next on the same ground. Both actives share the same ALS mode of action though, so don't rely on this as your only broadleaf herbicide across a rotation, alternate with a different mechanism where ALS resistance is a known risk in your fields.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Avoid spray drift onto sensitive broadleaf crops nearby, this product is not selective for all broadleaf species.
Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock.
