AVERMIONX 100 SC is a specialist translaminar insecticide–acaricide for the control of mites and leaf-mining pests that are difficult to reach with conventional contact sprays. It is particularly effective in crops with dense canopies and for pests residing on the lower leaf surface or within leaf tissue.

Abamectin locks open a channel in the pest's nerve and muscle cells that lets chloride flood in. The insect stops feeding almost right away, then goes paralysed and dies, usually within one to four days. You'll see feeding stop even before the pest is visibly dead, and that's the real sign the spray is working.
It also moves into the leaf itself instead of just sitting on the surface, so it reaches mites and leafminers that a straight contact spray would miss entirely, the ones feeding under the leaf or tunneling inside it. It doesn't move through the whole plant though, so good coverage at application still matters.

Best reserved for confirmed mite or leafminer pressure rather than calendar spraying. Because Abamectin needs to reach the pest through the leaf, scout the underside of leaves before spraying, not just the top of the canopy.
It's a Group 6 product, so don't run it back to back within the same season on the same block. Rotate with a Group 21 product or a Group 5 like spinosad between generations, so Group 6 stays effective instead of forcing a jump to something more disruptive once resistance shows up.
Abamectin is toxic to bees on contact, so avoid spraying during flowering or when pollinators are actively working the crop. If the crop is in bloom, spray early morning or evening instead. It's also toxic to fish and aquatic life, so keep it well away from water bodies while mixing and applying.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate, since it can irritate eyes on contact. Keep it in the original container, out of direct sunlight, away from children, food, and livestock.
