DIZORIUM 500 EC

DIZORIUM 500 EC is a dual-DMI fungicide designed for broad-spectrum control of foliar and ear diseases in high-value crops. By combining Difenoconazole and Propiconazole, it provides enhanced preventive and early curative activity, improving disease spectrum coverage while delaying the onset of resistance.

It is highly effective for cereals, vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals, particularly in regions prone to leaf spots, powdery mildew, rusts, and blights. Its systemic activity ensures both treated and newly emerged tissues are protected, making it suitable for high-density plantings, irrigated fields, and extended growth cycles.

Difenoconazole and propiconazole both block a step in how the fungus builds ergosterol, the compound its cell membrane depends on. Without it the membrane can't hold together properly and the fungus stops growing.

This product works mainly as a protectant, applied ahead of infection it stops spores from establishing in the first place. Once a lesion is already visible, expect it to slow further spread rather than clear existing damage, so timing ahead of disease-favourable weather matters more than spraying after an outbreak is already underway.

Both actives are FRAC group 3, so this product is single-site and does carry real resistance risk if used repeatedly without a break. Don't run more than two consecutive sprays before switching to a different mode of action.

A multi-site protectant like mancozeb or copper, or an SDHI, makes a solid rotation partner within the same program.

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Avoid spraying during the heat of the day on crops already under stress.

Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock. Triple-rinse containers before disposal.

Registered for use on labelled crops across East African markets, under the relevant national regulatory authority. Always read and follow the approved product label before use.
