PICORUSTA 300 SC is a strobilurin-class QoI fungicide designed for broad-spectrum, systemic foliar disease control. The formulation is engineered to: Disperse uniformly in spray solution, adhere strongly to waxy leaf surfaces, deliver vapor-phase redistribution, enabling coverage of new or shaded tissue, and provide extended residual protection under field conditions.
This ensures long-lasting preventive activity while optimizing uptake and efficacy.

Picoxystrobin blocks a specific step in fungal respiration, the same general mechanism as azoxystrobin and other strobilurins, cutting off the fungus's energy supply. It moves into the leaf tissue, giving good preventive activity, applied ahead of infection it stops spore germination before disease can establish.
Like other strobilurins, it performs best on a preventive schedule rather than as a rescue treatment once an outbreak is already visible.
Recommended rate: 0.4–0.6 litres per hectare

As a FRAC group 11 single-site product, this is genuinely high resistance risk if used repeatedly without rotation, a single mutation in the pathogen can knock out the whole group. Never run more than two consecutive sprays before switching to an unrelated mode of action, a DMI or a multi-site protectant makes a solid rotation partner across the season.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection when handling the concentrate. Store in the original container away from direct sunlight, children, food, and livestock.
Triple-rinse containers before disposal.
Registered for use on labelled crops across East African markets, under the relevant national regulatory authority. Always read and follow the approved product label before use.
